With a creek meandering through it, Avonworth Community Park is home to five baseball diamonds, a vast playground known as Kids' Kingdom, miles of hiking trails, a basketball court, and the Mayernik Center, available to rent for events year-round.
Summer comes alive between Labor Day and Memorial Day at the Avonworth Community Park Pool, a public swimming pool complete with a slide, diving board, baby pool, changing facilities, and a snack bar.
